There are 3 other post of this in process, thought I would post the finish pictures, just wrapped it up today. Glass tiled shower, stone floor, stick built mahogany vanity, granite tops and seats and vinyl plank flooring. Some of my best work to date I believe, if I do say so myself! Where we started After the tear out Here is the finish product!

The project is coming along. The tile is complete, most of the granite is in and the stain and varnish is complete. We still have to paint, do the floor and drop the toilet in. Here are some pictures as we close in on the finish. After the tile was complete we added sliding cabinet doors and stained and varnished the vanity and some trim. Time to install the granite seat, shelf and vanity top. I took the pocket door that has been painted and reskinned it in mahogany. It is now stained and ready for varnish. We are almost there!

So, there has been a lot of work going on for the new head. The vanity is finished as far as construction goes. Still need stain and varnish, the doors and the granite top, but the hard part is done. Building something straight and square when your surrounds have nothing that is plumb or square is quite the task. The entire sanitation system has been re-plumbed with all new components and hoses, we relocated the holding tanks for more storage and room in the aft cabin too. The shower has been roughed in, and ready for tile. And today, the tile work started. It’s slowly starting to come together.

We are in the process of a complete interior refit, starting with the guest head, which will become the main head after we tear out the en-suite head in the aft cabin to create more living space. Step one, complete tear out Once torn out, it exposed decades of old wiring and old plumbing. Time to clean all of that up prior to moving forward Then on to relocating the holding tanks, again for more room. New tanks and all new sanitary lines and valves. Then on to rebuilding the shower portion. New walls, new LED lighting, new wiring and new pvc ceiling and liner near the port hole. While out, the portholes were completely disassembled, blasted and powder coated. They were put back together with new smoked glass and all new seals Now, on to the shower liner. It's ready for tile and granite now. And here we have just stated roughing in what will be the new vanity and cabinet. Stay tuned, more to come!
